Stratmin Global Resources PLC (LON:STGR), up 18% to 1.9p. Its joint venture partner has received the final permit for its Vatomaina graphite project in Madagascar, meaning site development can now begin.
OILEX LTD (LON:OEX; ASX:OEX), up 17% to 0.47p. Said this morning that it had reached an agreement with its JV partner, Gujarat State Petroleum, to take control of the next planned vertical well at Cambay Field.
Great Western Mining Corporation PLC (LON:GWMO), up 8% to 0.52p. Rock chip sampling at its M1 gold and silver prospect has confirmed and extended the anomalous mineralisation found last year.

Pearson PLC (LON:PSON), down 9% to 762p. Market conditions “continue to be challenging” the educational publisher said, with underlying sales continuing to disappoint in the third quarter.
Orosur Mining Inc (LON:OMI), down 9% to 16p. Chief executive Ignacio Salazar said it had been a strong quarter for the gold miner as it swung to a profit, but perhaps investors weren’t pleased with the lower gold production.
Hornby Plc (LON:HRN), down 7% to 31.3p. The model railway brand confirmed today that interim finance director David Mulligan has been appointed to the position on a permanent basis.

Image Scan Holdings Plc (LON:IGE), up 12% to 7.25p. Posted a bullish pre-close trading update today, claiming that a stronger order book and cash position secured shirt term performance, while an expanding customer base and product pipeline “indicates a strong future” in the longer-term.
MySQUAR Limited (LON:MYSQ), up 11% to 4.15p. The Myanmar-focused company has grown user numbers by more than 660% since it listed just over two years ago, with total registered users now at over 6mln.
600 Group PLC (LON:SIXH), up 11% to 11.1p. Snapped up distressed Spanish machine tools business Kondia for €50,000, a deal that is immediately earnings-enhancing.

Strategic Minerals PLC (LON:SML), down 8% to 0.65p. Shares in the minerals producer ran out of steam after recent gains saw it almost double its share price in the last month.
Lekoil Ltd (LON:LEK), down 5% to 21p. Raised US$12.4mln after it placed 48mln shares at a price of 21p, a slight discount to this morning’s open.

EPE Special Opportunities PLC (LON:ESO), up 17% to 223p. Told investors on Monday that Luceco PLC – in which EPE had a 48% stake – successfully priced its IPO giving it a value of around £209mln. EPE plans to reduce its holding in the firm as it looks to take some profit from its investment.
Modern Water PLC (LON:MWG), up 16% to 6.8p. The water specialist said it has received order commitments from customers in the Asia Pacific region in excess of £550,000, which will be completed during this calendar year.
