MySQUAR Limited (LON:MYSQ) and Myanmar, where it operates, are on a roll as the firm revealed the number of registered users across all its apps and games is now over 6mln.
That's a whopping 660% more users than it had when it listed on AIM in July 2015 and significantly trumps the 5mln expected by the end of 2016.
Last week the rapidly growing social media and app group welcomed the lifting of US sanctions on the country.
Chief executive Eric Schaer said today: "User acquisition continues to grow at a remarkable rate, as does the appetite in Myanmar for MySQUAR's products and services, and shows no signs of slowing down."
In addition, a new version of the group's chatroom app MyCHAT 2.0 will be released before the end of this calendar year, which will have more features for users and more analytics for advertisers.
The company also says it will adopt a more aggressive plan on games, aiming to release at least two new games in its fourth quarter of 2016.
One of these will be centred around Naruto, based on the successful Japanese manga comic character.
Schaer added the group expects to be able to exploit the anticipated surge in advertising interest in Myanmar's 50mln plus population from American multinational companies following the recent withdrawal of sanctions."
"We believe that a more aggressive programme of game launches, using themes with proven popularity in Myanmar such as Naruto, will lead to increases in user numbers and therefore even greater popularity, with a corresponding effect on revenues.
"We are finding that with each success, the environment for launching new games and apps is considerably enhanced."
