Marketing analyst Ebiquity plc (LON:EBQ) has appointed Andrew Noble as chief financial officer and director of the board.

Noble joined Ebiquity as group finance director in February last year, and has been a key member of senior management with direct reporting lines from all finance functions, said the group.

Over at Telit Communications Plc (LON:TCM)it has been awarded a preferred loan of €12.8mln and a grant of €3.6 mln by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development.

Telit specialises in the hardware that enables machine to machine communications, the Internet of Things (IOT), and most of the money will fund development of a new range of gateway modules to pass data wirelessly through the new superfast LTE class 4 protocol.

Meanwhile, as forecast, Eurasia Mining plc (LON:EUA) has produced its first platinum concentrate from the West Kytlim alluvial platinum project in Russia.

A batch of raw concentrate is now ready to be shipped to the Ekaterinburg non-ferrous metals processing plant in line with the refining contract signed in July.

Elsewhere, things are hotting up at Botswana Diamonds plc's (LON:BOD) joint venture with Russian state diamond giant Alrosa, with an intensive 12 week week exploration programme about to kick off.

Botswana chairman and mining veteran John Teeling said the firm was funded for the work starting at the end of this month.

Over at gaming software group GAN Plc (LON:GAN) it announced the latest agreement with a native American casino operator, this time providing its services to Oneida Indian Nation.

GAN’s B2B software, which enables social media casino games, to Oneida’s Turning Stone Resort Casino in central New York State.

Indian power plant operator OPG Power Ventures Plc. (LON:OPG) has told investors that its non-executive director Munish C Gupta is to retire from his position.

Gupta – who oversaw the company’s admission to AIM back in 2008 – will step down after the next shareholder meeting in October.

And finally, the big one: How big is Hurricane Energy Plc’s (LON:HUR) Lancaster field? Half a billion barrels, if not significantly more, would be a “realistic target” according oil company expert Malcolm Graham Wood.

Graham Wood, in his well followed oil market blog, said Friday’s impressive results mean the estimates for Lancaster’s resources will immediately increase.
