Overnight in London, shares in Tlou Energy Ltd (LON:TLOU, ASX:TOU) shot higher as it reported sustained gas flows from testing at its Lesedi coal bed methane prospect in Botswana.
A sustained gas flow has been achieved at Selemo 1, one of three wells being tested.
“This is a significant milestone and a key step in the process of achieving an economic flow rate.
“Gas rates are expected to grow over the coming months”, added the company.
Tlou added it had also made significant progress on gas-to-power station plans in Botswana.
In London, shares of the dual –listed group rose by 33% to 4.33p.
