Major share price risers and fallers in London at 9.30am

Some significant share movers at around 3.15pm

RISERS

Gulf Marine Services (LON: GMS), up almost 12% as the provider of self-propelled support vessels (SESVs)for the oil industry, reached agreement in principle for the charter of one of its vessels.

Dewhurst plc (LON:DWHT), up over 13% as the market hailed its trading update.

Verona Pharma plc (LON: VRP),up almost 5% as it said it will present three abstracts at the European Respiratory Society (ERS) 2016 International Congress in Lond

FALLERS

Sylvania Platinum (LON:SLP), down 4.84% as it posted results for the year to end June, which saw profits up on lower costs.

Mining titan Anglo American plc (LON:AAL) dropped 3.62% as it revealed it had completed the sale of its 70% interest in the Foxleigh metallurgical coal mine in Queensland, Australia to a consortium led by Taurus Fund Management.

Solgold PLC (LON:SOLG), down 3.39% to 7.125p as it signed a conditional agreement with Australian mining heavyweight Newcrest under the terms of which Newcrest looks set to take a 10% stake in the company.

RISERS

Kodal Minerals (LON:KOD), up over 21% as it entered into an agreement with Gorutumu Mining SARL (Gorutumu), giving it exclusive rights to explore and acquire a controlling interest in a prospective high grade lithium project in Southern Mali.

Patagonia Gold plc (LON:PGD), up over 10% as it said production could now begin next month at Cap-Oeste.

Vast Resources (LON:VAST), up 7% as it said metallurgical work undertaken by consultant SGS is likely to lead to significant production improvements at the Manaila polymetallic mine in Romania.

FALLERS

BOS Global Holdings (LON:BOS), down almost 60% as it posted some board changes.

Braemar Shipping Services (LON:BMS) down 10.59% as its trading update did not impress the market.

BATM Advanced Communications Limited (LON:BVC), down over 6% as it reported good progress in its diagnostic business in the half year to end June in its interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2016.

RISERS

Galileo Resources PLC (LON:GLR) up 20% to 1.23p. Company has sold its Gabbs property in Nevada for US$2.5mln (£1.9 mln) cash to help fund its copper exploration in South Africa.

Purblebricks Group PLC (LON:PURP) up 7% to 134p. Online estate agency has formally launched its operation in Australia.

Mosman Oil and Gas Limited (LON:MSMN) up 4% to 1.07p. Junior highlighted the start of initial work programmes at the Dala project, in Angola, which is being explored by 20% owned associate Gem International Resources Inc (CVE:GEM).

FALLERS

Tlou Energy Ltd (LON:TLOU) down 13% to 7.2p. Shares in conventional energy group have been suspended in Australia pending a fund raise.

Pressure Technologies Plc (LON:PRES) down 13% to 137p. Company warns trading has remained difficult and a number of contracts will now be delayed until 2017 coming through. “We now anticipate that the full year result at Group level will be a loss against a market expectation of a profit.”

Braemar Shipping Services PLC (LON:BMS) down 9% to 370p. Tanker market has been subdued over the summer, which has led to reduced revenues, meaning results to February 2017 will be materially below 2016.
