Tlou Energy Limited (LON:TLOU) has renewed a co-operation agreement key to getting three major Botswana projects off the ground.
Tlou’s partners are the American giant GE, or at least its power subsidiary, and IK Holdings, an Australian company that develops gas-fired generation.
Tlou’s specialism is finding, developing and using coal bed methane to drive new plants.
The trio will work together to on Tlou’s 50 megawatt (MW) facility, which has been signed off by the authorities; a gas supply agreement for an operation in the town of Orapa; and a 300MW gas fired project being developed by GE and IK.
