Genel Energy PLC (LON:GENL) up 9% to 104.3p. Partners in Tawke Field in Kurdistan received US$30mln payment for June out of an invoice for US$38.4mln. Telit Communications Plc (LON:TCM) up 5% to 274p. Internet of things specialist reports first half revenues rose 6.3% higher to US$166mln with second half to be stronger. President Energy PLC (LON:PPC) up 4% to 9.9p. Horizontal drilling programme begins at Dos Puntitas Field, Argentina, while net pay at East White Lake field, Louisiana, amounts to more than 40ft.
FALLERS
Providence Resources PLC (LON:PVR) down 10% to 10p. Irish explorer has increased its stake in Frontier Exploration Licence (FEL) 3/04, which hosted the 2013 Dunquin North well and the remaining Dunquin South exploration prospect. The Irish company now owns a 26.846% interest in the licence. Glenwick PLC (LON:GWIK) down 8% to 0.07p. Jacob Jan Kornelis (Jaap) Poll and Amanda Van Dyke are joining the Board as non-executive directors, while Cameron Pearce has resigned. Central Rand Gold Limited (LON:CRND) down 7% to 1.28p. Financier Bergen converts convertible securities at a price of 1.2p per share.

IGAS Energy PLC (LON:IGAS) up 28% to 18.2p. UK energy group soars in response to PM Theresa May’s plan to pay households affected by shale gas exploration up to £20,000.
Egdon Resources PLC (LON:EDR) up 16% to 12.6p. Like Igas, a potential winner if shale gas exploration moves ahead across the UK.
Melrose PLC (LON:MRO) up 9% to 749p. To complete reverse takeover of Nortek as shopping window period closes with no competing offers.
FALLERS
Aureus Mining PLC (LON:AUE) down 15% to 3.5p. More issues at New Liberty mine in Liberia mean that another round of funding may be required to get the gold mine producing at full tilt.
Nancoco PLC (LON:NANO) down 8% to 64p. Sales this year at the cadmium-free quantum dots specialist will be a touch lower this year at £1.9mln (£2mln), but overall tone was upbeat.
Utilitywise plc (LON:UTW) down 6% to 134.3p. Energy and water consultancy saw significant revenue growth and increased customer numbers in the year to July, but added “it has been a challenging year with staff attrition in the Enterprise division resulting in a weaker overall performance than we would have liked."
