Anglo Pacific Group plc (LON:APF) says it is 'encouraged' by the positive definitive feasibility study released yesterday by Berkeley Energia Ltd on the Salamanca uranium project in Spain.
In 2009, Anglo acquired a 1% NSR royalty on production from Berkeley's Spanish and Portuguese assets for A$4.1mln and it also holds 30.3 million Berkeley shares.
In other news, dotDigital Group PLC (LON:DOTD) said that its international expansion was progressing well with revenues in the US up 49% to US$4.4mln.
In a trading update for the year to June 2016, the online services group confirmed that revenue was up 26% year-on-year, an increase of 21% in the UK and 58% in international territories.
Elsewhere, Telit Communications (LON:TCM ) has won approval from Verizon Communications Inc.(NYSE:VZ) to use another of its products on the US telecoms group's network.
The IT firm said Verizon had certified a second Telit CAT-1 Long Term Evolution (LTE) Internet of Things (IoT) module for use on its 4G LTE network.
Over at Mosman Oil & Gas Ltd (LON:MSMN), it highlighted that initial exploration efforts will shortly begin for its new diamond venture.
Mosman, in May, agreed an investment in GEM International Resource which sees it taking a 20% stake in the company, and following meetings in GEM’s Hong Kong offices it is now looking forward to field work.
Meanwhile, medical technology company Angle PLC (LON:AGL) has taken a step forward in developing its blood analysis system Parsortix.
The group said new data from key opinion leaders on research done with Parsortix had highlighted increasing use and broad potential applications.
Over at Mineral sands firm Sierra Rutile Ltd (LON:SRX), it said full year output is expected to be at the upper end of guidance after it unveiled a strong second quarter, which saw a 29% increase in rutile production compared to the first.
Full year production for the year is now expected to be at upper end of between 120,000 tonnes and 135,000 tonnes, it said.
Shanta Gold Limited(LON:SHG) said operational success of the New Luika gold mine in Tanzania means it can progress its second Singida project, where pilot production is targeted to start in the first quarter of 2017.
The pilot project required around US$4mln to be developed, which will be funded from company cashflow, it said.
Over at Faroe Petroleum Plc (LON:FPM), the North Sea oil firm confirmed it had raised £62mln of new capital via an oversubscribed share placing to institutional investors.
Faroe is issuing 88.5mln new shares at a price of 70p each. The new shares represent some 24.8% of the group’s enlarged share capital, and the cash is earmarked to support the acquisition of new assets in the Norwegian North Sea.
Tomco Energy plc (LON:TOM) revealed a financing facility struck with Windsor Capital Partners in 2013 has been terminated by mutual consent.
Under the liquid facility Tomco issued Windsor with 100 million shares to Windsor, increasing the shares in issue by 6%, in exchange for a promissory note.
And finally, Oncimmune Holdings PLC (LON:ONC) announced that it had obtained the CE (Conformité Européene) mark for the reagents used in its lung cancer detection test.
The meditech group’s EarlyCDT-Lung is an autoantibody blood test that can detect cancer up to four years earlier than other methods.
