One in ten FTSE 100 companies is now using Rosslyn Data Technologies PLC’s (LON:RDT) RAPid cloud analytics platform after the latest contract win.
The “big data” specialist said its Rosslyn Analytics arm had secured a contract worth €240,000 (£200,000) in the first year from a blue-chip quoted client. The contact has an option to extend beyond the first year, while Rosslyn will also have the possibility to sell other services to the client.
Rosslyn declined to name the new customer, but dropped a clue, saying it was a logistics company, operating in many geographies, that has successfully grown organically and through acquisition.
The client is seeking to identify and mitigate an increasing and varying number of risks that it faces as a result of its global operations, Rosslyn said. The functionality of the RAPid platform will enable the client to bring together data from multiple different sources internally and externally, which is key to them achieving their business objectives, it added.
"I am thrilled that Rosslyn has won this high profile client in a competitive and demanding tender process,” said Roger Bullen, chief executive officer of Rosslyn.
“Being selected by this FTSE 100 company, shows that our RAPid Cloud Analytics Platform is the technology of choice for companies serious about leveraging the value of their data in order to improve business performance. This win underpins the progress we are making in increasing our average annual contract value to £72,000 which at the time of the IPO was c.£50,000 per annum," he added.
