Risers & fallers: CityFibre, BMR, LondonMetric, Regal Petroleum

Full-year results were a shade on the disappointing side for LondonMetric

Below are some of the main news-driven share price changes at 3.45pm.

RISERS

CityFibre Infrastructure Holdings PLC (LON:CITY), up 4.8%. The company has signed a five-year £3.1mln agreement to provide 250 customer connections to an information and communications provider.

BMR Group PLC (LON:BMR), up 2.8%. The Zambia-focused mineral processing business has received approval from the authorities for its environmental social impact assessment in respect of its tailings retreatment process and the construction of its planned pilot and main treatment plants in Kabwe.

FALLERS

LondonMetric Property PLC (LON:LMP), down 3.9%. Full-year results were a shade on the disappointing side, with the property company’s net asset value per share rising to 147.7p from 140.6p the year before.

Regal Petroleum PLC (LON:RPT), down 3.5%. The oil and gas firm said its production operations in Ukraine continued “relatively normally” through the country’s troubled period.

RISERS

Strategic Minerals PLC (LON:SML), up 14%. The shares are still basking in the afterglow of yesterday’s drilling update for the Hanns Camp project in Australia.

Goldbridges Global Resources PLC (LON:GBGR), up 5.9%. The company said it is confident it is on track to delivering annual gold production of 100,000 ounces by 2019.

Motif Bio Plc (LON:MTFB), up 5.0%. The clinical stage biopharmaceutical company specialising in developing novel antibiotics, announced that CEO Graham Lumsden has been invited to present at BIO 2016 in San Francisco.

FALLERS

Starcom Plc (LON:STAR), down 8.1%. A routine announcement about the number of shares in issue has sent the shares tumbling for no readily apparent reason.

Halfords Group PLC (LON:HFD), down 6.2%. The bikes and car parts seller saw like-for-like cycle sales slide as the weather took a turn for the worse.

Wolseley PLC (LON:WOS), down 6.0%. Another big gun on the slide after results was plumbers’ merchant Wolseley, as it warned of weaker markets.

Below are some of the main news-driven share price changes at 9.15am.

RISERS

Pennant International Group PLC (LON:PEN), up 49%. The supplier of integrated logistic support solutions, products and services has won new contracts worth in excess of £13mln. It’s a big deal for a company that had less than £10mln of sales in 2015.

Deltex Medical Group plc (LON:DEMG), up 8.6%. The Spanish have now been converted to the benefits of the company’s oesophageal Doppler monitoring devices.

Northern Bear Plc (LON:NTBR), up 8.3%. The roofing and building materials firm might be finally out of the woods, as it has upped its dividend “after many years of tireless efforts to improve profitability and reduce the level of bank debt”.
