Stratmin Global Resources PLC (LON:STGR), up 23%. The company is to sell its graphite business in Madagascar to Aussie firm Bass Metals.
Petro Matad Limited Holdings (LON:MATD), up 12%. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has sold off its stake in the company.

Gable Holdings Inc (LON:GAH), down 22%. Having plunged yesterday on news of a profit warning the insurance company was hammered again this morning.
Sable Mining Africa Limited (LON:SBLM), down 20%. The company has noted the recent media comment and speculation regarding allegations of bribery and corruption made against the company in Liberia, and is investigating these matters and taking appropriate legal advice.
Powerflute Oyj (LON:POWR), down 12%. The AGM statement from the paper and packaging group was a downer, especially if you’d hiked all the way to Kuopio in Finland to hear it. The group said it expects the second half of the year to be “more challenging”.

Westminster Group PLC (LON:WSG), up 123%. The security services provider has moved a significant step closer to inking a lucrative deal with a civil aviation authority in the Middle East.
Marshal Motor Holdings PLC (LON:MMH), up 28%. The cars dealer has acquired Ridgeway garages for £107mln.
Management Resources Solutions PLC (LON:MRS), up 23%. Poor timing by the personnel firm. Shares were hammered earlier this week after it placed shares to raise funds, whereas if it had waited a couple of days it could have benefited from today’s share price rise, which came on the back of a significant contract win.
FALLERS
Prospex Oil and Gas PLC (LON:PXOG), down 27% at 1p. The company has raised £1.64mln by placing shares at a penny each.
Hostelworld Group PLC (LON:HSW), down 26%. The annual general meeting today is likely to be a glum occasion after the group revealed recent terrorist events had affected trading in the second quarter, particularly in Europe.
LightwaveRF (LON:LWRF), down 11%. The half-year report from the remote control heating and lighting firm disappointed, with revenues down from £1.52mln the year before to £804k.
