Amur Minerals (LON:AMC) has pitched the potential of its Kun-Manie nickel project in Far East Russia to potential investors in Korea.
Through its tie-up with Russia's Far East and Baikal Region Development Fund, Amur met with a number of Korean state agencies over funding and participation options at Kun-Manie.

Tomco’s primary asset to date, an oil shale venture reliant on ground-breaking new technology, was waylaid amid crude’s downturn, and now the group’s newly hired chief executive will look to bring some diversity and near-term impetus.
Elsewhere, OptiBiotix Health PLC (LON:OPTI) has filed for patents covering the use of microbial proteins in skin care that have the potential to protect from super-bugs such as MRSA.
The applications relate specifically to the use of these proteins in safeguarding against pathogenic bacteria, halting their spread and preventing re-attachment.
Over at Newmark Security PLC (LON:NWT) the group said the second half of its financial year has broadly continued on the lines of the first half.
Revenues in the year to 30 April are expected to be not less than £22.0mln, down from £22.9mln the year before, while profit after tax should be in line with market expectations at around £1.2mln.
Meanwhile, Sirius Minerals PLC (LON:SXX) has revealed some new diversity to its mining plans in North Yorkshire, with a scoping study identifying the possibility of producing de-icing salt at only a small additional capital cost.
The mine developer told investors that some 550mln tonnes of high grade salt deposits, suited to the de-icing market, could be accessed and mined at a rate of 2mln tonnes per year for an additional US$29mln.
Over at food manufacturer Real Good Food PLC (LON:RGD) it launched a state of the art Development Centre and Academy in Liverpool.
The group said the centre will serve as an international hub for food manufacturing innovation and cake decoration skills training.
The order book at marble quarrying company Fox Marble Holdings PLC (LON:FOX) has been substantially boosted by an order from Karailas Marble.
Karailias is an international trader of marble and other commodities with a head office and marble processing facility in northern Greece. It has signed a deal for a minimum of €440,000 worth of Sivec marble blocks during 2016, taking at least 200 tonnes per month.
And finally, ValiRx Plc (LON:VAL) said manufacturing of VAL401 had begun ahead of a phase II clinical trial of the drug in patients with advanced lung cancer.
The study will assess efficacy, safety and tolerability in people with the non-small cell variant of the disease where at least one form of chemotherapy has failed.
