Horse Hill shares were off to the races this morning after the latest flow test results from the so-called Gatwick Gusher oil project impressed.
It was revealed this morning that Horse Hill’s Upper Kimmeridge zone had flowed oil to surface at a rate in excess of 900 barrels per day.
UK Oil & Gas (LON:UKOG) shares rose about 30% in its first hour and set a new high for the year.
Meanwhile fellow Horse Hill stakeholders Solo Oil (LON:SOLO), Alba Minerals (LON:ALBA) and Evocutis (LON:EVO) also rallied strongly.
In other news, mineral exploration and development group Amur Minerals (LON:AMC) announced that an investor has elected to convert 17mln warrants issued as part of a loan.
West African gold producer Aureus Mining (LON:AUE) has had the first debt repayment on its New Liberty gold mine deferred to 4 April.
Aureus is currently in the process of finalising an updated mine plan.
Also in gold, Xtract Resources (LON:XTR) received government approval to acquire the Manica gold project in Mozambique.
Terms of the deal have also been amended with US$3mln cash to be paid to vendor Auroch by 1 March and more of the consideration to be settled shares.
Meanwhile, Argentina and Colombia focused Andes Energia (LON:AEN) confirmed that it has now fully repaid its debt facility with Macquarie Corporate Holdings.
Elsewhere, Forbidden Technologies (LON:FBT) has extended its video editing deal with giant sports management group IMG for another year. Its Forscene technology will provide sports highlights packages across 12 channels.
High-purity stevia ingredients producer PureCircle (LON:PURE) doubled underlying earnings (EBITDA) in the first half of the current financial year.
Reported profit before tax was $5.0mln versus a loss the year before of $927,000. Sales increased 26% to $54.5mln, with the company reporting growth across all regions.
Technology-focused Tern (LON:TERN) said its flagship investment, Cryptosoft, has bagged a contract with cyber-security colossus Symantec.
And finally shares in ImmuPharma (LON:IMM) nudged higher as it received a VCT advance assurance and EIS advance assurances from HMRC, which enabled it to raise a further £0.7mln in its recent funding.
