Fleet management firm Trakm8’s (LON:TRAK) sales are running “considerably higher” than last year, it told shareholders today.
Chairman John Watkins said orders were also 19% ahead of a year ago.
The black box provider for car insurance company Direct Line recently bought dashboard camera firm DCS Solutions, for £3.3mln.
Camera sales have been in-line with expectations.
Recurring revenues are growing, with 127,000 units now reporting to the company’s servers, an increase of 24,000 since the last financial year end.
Chairman Watkins added after the he expects the good start to the current financial year, the group should meet achieve expectations for the full year.
So far this year, the group has signed a contract with Bibby Distribution and has released a Bluetooth version of its GPS device.
Shares gained almost 5% to 181p today.
