Light Science Technologies secures £800,000 of further fire protection business

Light Science Technologies Holdings PLC (AIM:LST, FRA:9FD), the fire safety and food security technology group, has secured £800,000 of additional business in its passive fire protection division since its last trading update on 24 June 2026.

The new work includes further orders and invoiced sales of the group's Injectaclad cavity fire barrier system through its installer network.

It also includes two further contracts secured by the Company's in-house installation business, Injecta Fire Barrier.

The two new installation projects are located in Birmingham and Leicester, with the Leicester project recently approved by the Building Safety Regulator.

They add to existing installations in Hull and Liverpool, referenced in the company's announcement on 24 June 2026.

The division now supplies or carries out works across a broad range of buildings, including high-rise residential properties, hotels, schools and social housing across the UK.

The progress follows the company's market update on 27 August 2026, which highlighted developments within the UK fire safety and building remediation sector.

Chief executive Simon Deacon said securing approximately £0.8 million of further business since June demonstrated continued commercial momentum within the division.

He said the company was seeing progress across both parts of its strategy, with increasing Injectaclad sales through its installer network alongside further projects secured by its own installation team.

Deacon added that the growing number and range of projects on which Injectaclad was now being deployed gave further confidence in the opportunity ahead.
