Snail Inc (NASDAQ:SNAL) said Tuesday it has launched Honeycomb: The World Beyond, a science-fiction survival sandbox game developed by Frozen Way Studio and published in partnership with Snail Games USA.
The title is now available globally on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The game is set on the planet Sota7 and combines survival, exploration and base-building with a bioengineering system that lets players experiment on alien flora and fauna, including grafting and allogamy to create hybrid life forms. Players analyze samples, gather resources and build bases as they move through the game.
On compatible PC hardware, Frozen Way has partnered with NVIDIA to integrate technologies including RTXDI, DLSS 4.5 with Ray Reconstruction, Multi Frame Generation and Reflex, aimed at improving visual quality and performance.
The launch adds an original IP to Snail Games' publishing portfolio. The company said it is supporting the global commercialization of the title while leveraging its publishing infrastructure and survival-genre audience to bring it to players across PC and console platforms worldwide.
