Futura Medical PLC (AIM:FUM, OTC:FAMDF, FRA:GYX) said its stronger Eroxon Intense erectile dysfunction gel has been cleared for launch across the European Economic Area and UK, widening the group’s flagship consumer-health franchise.
The clearance follows the completion of design, validation and pre-market regulatory work under Futura’s existing European CE certification and UKCA approval. Commercial partner Cooper Consumer Health can now launch the formulation across its licensed territories.
Eroxon Intense is designed to deliver a faster and stronger sensorial effect than the existing Eroxon product. A home-user test involving 223 men recorded satisfactory erection hardness in around 70% of sexual encounters and successful intercourse in approximately 85%, with more than half of participants indicating they would be likely to buy the products.
Chief executive Alex Duggan called the clearance “an important step in broadening the Eroxon franchise”. Futura continues to expect US FDA clearance during the second half of 2026, ahead of a planned US launch with commercial partner MPG in 2027.
