Quantum Blockchain Technologies PLC (AIM:QBT, FRA:BYA1) said US patent records indicate that a Notice of Allowance has been issued for its “ASIC Ultra Boost” application, although the company is still confirming the details with its patent lawyers.
The company, which is developing tools and techniques intended to improve the performance of bitcoin-mining operations, told investors it is now consulting its UK and US patent attorneys and will publish a further announcement once it is in a position to verify the development.
Its US application, numbered 18/696,073, is formally titled “Message Scheduling for Cryptographic Hashing”.
