Midwich Group PLC (AIM:MIDW) (LSE:MIDW), up 4% changing hands at 137p, announced it has lined up veteran finance executive Kevin Quinn as its next chair, bringing boardroom, governance and M&A experience to the specialist audio-visual distributor.
Quinn will join the AIM-listed group as an independent non-executive director and chair designate on 1 August 2026, when he will also succeed Andrew Herbert as non-executive chair following an orderly transition.
The incoming chair was chief financial officer of Berendsen plc for more than 12 years until 2017 and has previously chaired Marlowe PLC (AIM:MRL) and the Business Services Association. He was also audit committee chair at Benchmark Holdings PLC (AIM:BMK) and earlier held senior finance roles at Amersham plc and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Chief executive Stephen Fenby said Herbert had provided “astute guidance” since Midwich’s IPO in 2016 and had been “a strong sounding board” for the executive management team. --Story updated to correct headline
