Elemental Royalty Corporation (TSX:ELE) shares climbed nearly 4% in Toronto and New York on Wednesday after the gold royalty company said it had been selected for inclusion in three major market indexes.

Elemental is set to join the S&P/TSX Global Gold Index prior to the open of trading on June 22, following an announcement by S&P Dow Jones Indices on June 5.

Applied Materials Inc (NASDAQ:AMAT, XETRA:AP2) shares rose about 8% on Wednesday after the company unveiled SENZ, a new integrated visual system designed for next-generation smart glasses, marking its latest push into augmented reality hardware infrastructure.

The company said SENZ is an “integrated ambient visual platform” that combines waveguide optics, a light engine, sensing technology, vision correction and electronic dimming into a single co-optimized system for AI-enabled smart eyewear.

Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. (NASDAQ:BBBY) has entered a definitive agreement to acquire real estate services platform Fathom Holdings for approximately $53.38 million as it pushes deeper into the full homeownership lifecycle.

The deal calls for Fathom shareholders to receive 0.2236 shares of Bed Bath & Beyond common stock for each Fathom share held, subject to certain closing adjustments.

Snap Inc (NYSE:SNAP) shares fell about 4% following the company’s unveiling of its new augmented reality (AR) glasses, Specs, as investors weighed the high price tag and uncertain consumer demand against the company’s long-term vision for wearable computing.

The company introduced Specs at the Augmented World Expo in California, positioning the device as its first consumer-facing standalone AR glasses. The product is available for pre-order at $2,195, plus a $200 refundable deposit, with shipments expected later this year in the United States, United Kingdom, and France.

AST SpaceMobile Inc (NASDAQ:ASTS) shares moved about 4% higher on Wednesday after the company announced the successful launch of three new BlueBird satellites, expanding its planned space-based cellular broadband network.

The satellites, designated BlueBirds 8, 9 and 10, were launched aboard a SpaceX Corp (NASDAQ:SPCX) Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 2:39 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time.

Graphene Manufacturing Group Ltd (TSX-V:GMG, OTCQX:GMGMF) announced that it has shipped its first bulk order of THERMAL-XR graphene coating to Nu-Calgon Wholesaler, its exclusive distributor in North America, marking a step toward commercial sales in the US HVAC-R market.

The product will be marketed and sold under the brand name Nu-Calgon CoolWorx powered by GMG Graphene, according to the company.

Purepoint Uranium Group Inc (TSX-V:PTU, OTCQX:PTUUF, FRA:P5X0) announced that drilling has begun at the Dorado project in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin, the flagship asset of its 50/50 joint venture with IsoEnergy.

The fully funded summer 2026 exploration program will consist of seven drill holes totaling approximately 3,150 metres and is expected to continue through July and August.

CarMax Inc (NYSE:KMX) shares fell more than 6% in early trade on Wednesday as investors looked past a better-than-expected first quarter earnings report and focused on margin pressure, credit risks and concerns about the company's profitability strategy.

The used-vehicle retailer reported adjusted earnings per share of $1.31 for the quarter, well above analyst estimates of $0.95.

Nine Mile Metals Ltd. (CSE:NINE, OTCQB:VMSXF, FRA:KQ9) said on Wednesday that drilling at its Wedge Mine property has returned two zones of copper mineralization, including a new zone discovered at depth.

The completed hole reached a final depth of 290.5 metres and was drilled to follow up on mineralization found in 2024, with targeting guided by 3D modelling from Apex Geoscience.
