Bradda Head Lithium Ltd BHL View profile

Bradda Head Lithium accepted into US govt backed consortium

Bradda Head Lithium Ltd (AIM:BHL, OTC:BHLIF, TSX-V:BHLI, FRA:8CD1) said its US subsidiary has been accepted into the Defense Industrial Base Consortium, strengthening its links to US government-backed efforts to secure domestic critical minerals supply chains.

The North America-focused lithium developer said Zenolith (USA) LLC’s membership aligns the group with US priorities around reliable domestic sources of lithium and other strategic minerals, with battery materials increasingly tied to energy storage, electrification and defence applications.

The consortium brings together companies, research institutions, technology developers and government agencies focused on national security, industrial collaboration and supply chain resilience. Bradda said membership creates scope for Zenolith to contribute technical expertise, participate in collaborative research and development, and engage with organisations shaping US critical minerals policy.

Executive chair Ian Stalker said the move strengthens Bradda’s alignment with US efforts to reduce reliance on foreign sources of strategic materials.

The company said the development builds on recent strategic moves, including its exploration joint venture with Rio Tinto subsidiary Kennecott Exploration Company at the Whistlejacket lithium project in Arizona and its memorandum of understanding with US battery technology developer Tyfast.
