AuKing to outline project progress in investor webinar amid rare earths push

AuKing Mining Ltd (ASX:AKN) will host an investor webinar this week to provide shareholders and investors with an operational update across its expanding exploration portfolio, including recent developments at the Tundulu rare earths project in Malawi.

Managing director Paul Williams is set to present the webinar on Wednesday, May 13, where the company will discuss exploration activities and broader progress across its portfolio.

The webinar comes as AuKing advances preparations for a maiden drilling campaign at Tundulu, which it acquired earlier this year as part of a broader strategic expansion into critical minerals.

Earlier this month, the company announced the appointment of drilling contractor Thompson Resources ahead of planned exploration work at the project expected to begin mid-May, with drilling expected to target extensions to known rare earth mineralisation and test additional high-priority prospects.

The webinar comes as AuKing advances its broader critical minerals strategy following its proposed acquisition of the Tundulu rare earths project in Malawi from TSX-V listed Tusker Gold.

Announced in April, the deal formed part of a broader expansion package that also included additional gold and niobium assets alongside a $5 million capital raising aimed at funding exploration and development activities.

AuKing has previously flagged plans for drilling at Tundulu, where historical exploration has identified rare earth mineralisation across multiple targets.

AuKing’s operational update is expected to provide investors with further detail on upcoming exploration plans, timelines and project priorities across its growing portfolio.
