Aurum Resources Ltd (ASX:AUE) has returned multiple thick gold intersections from drilling at the BDT2 deposit within its 3.03-million-ounce Boundiali Gold Project in Côte d'Ivoire.
The results come from 28 diamond drill holes for 9,905.85 metres as part of Aurum’s ongoing 100,000-metre Boundiali drilling program, which is targeting resource growth and increased geological confidence.
Results from BDT2 drilling
The latest assays include:
- 40.60 metres at 1.06 g/t gold from 299.40 metres, including 6 metres at 2.77 g/t, in DSDD0437
- 26 metres at 1.48 g/t gold from 175 metres, including 4 metres at 3.82 g/t, in DSDD0440
- 23 metres at 1.32 g/t gold from 376 metres, including 3 metres at 5.33 g/t, in DSDD0426A
- 38 metres at 0.76 g/t gold from 229 metres, including 4.7 metres at 2.93 g/t, in DSDD0422
- 34 metres at 0.79 g/t gold from 474 metres, including 2 metres at 4.03 g/t, in DSDD0430

Program focus
Most holes were drilled to convert inferred resources to indicated resources, while others tested extensions to known mineralisation at depth and along strike.
Aurum said the drilling confirmed gold mineralisation outside current resource boundaries at BDT2, with the system remaining open.
“These latest results again demonstrate our drilling team's ability to cost-effectively grow Mineral Resources at Boundiali at a rate our peers cannot match. Most of the 28 holes have been drilled to lift Inferred Resources to Indicated status, while others have been designed to test the limits of known mineralisation. The deeper holes confirm the gold system remains open at depth and most of the new holes have intersected multiple zones of thick gold mineralisation, with standout results including 26m @ 1.48 g/t Au from 175m (DSDD0440), Aurum’s managing director Dr. Caigen Wang said.
"These results demonstrate the scale potential on offer at Boundiali as our drilling targets only the most obvious outcropping anomalies, and we have achieved rapid resource growth to 3.03Moz since acquiring the ground. All deposits remain open, and at the end of this month we will have 16 diamond drill rigs operating to drive resource growth across the Boundiali deposits, as well as testing the enormous potential for blind discoveries.
"Group gold resources now stand at 4.2Moz and with $61M in the bank, we are perfectly positioned to deliver further resource growth, in addition to delivering the Boundiali PFS in May 2026, as we drive towards a DFS in late 2026."
Next steps
Aurum plans to continue multi-rig drilling through 2026, including:
- 100,000 metres of drilling at Boundiali across the BD, BM and BST tenements;
- a major resource update targeted for Q3 2026;
- delivery of the Boundiali open-pit pre-feasibility study in May 2026; and
- incorporation of 2026 drilling and PFS outcomes into a definitive feasibility study expected in late 2026.
The company also plans 30,000 metres of diamond drilling at the 1.16-million-ounce Napié Gold Project.
