Starbucks Corp (NASDAQ:SBUX, XETRA:SRB) shares rose about 5% in extended trading on Tuesday after the coffee chain topped Wall Street estimates for quarterly revenue and profit, helped by stronger US demand and improved comparable sales.

The company reported fiscal second-quarter revenue of $9.5 billion, above analysts’ expectations of $9.14 billion, while adjusted earnings per share came in at $0.50 cents, compared with estimates of $0.43.

Rambus Inc (NASDAQ:RMBS) shares plunged nearly 23% to around $109.63 on Tuesday after the semiconductor intellectual property company reported first-quarter 2026 results that fell short of revenue expectations, compounded by an analyst downgrade citing mounting risks from tightening DRAM supply.

The company posted Q1 revenue of $180.2 million, missing the consensus estimate of $189.71 million, while adjusted earnings per share came in at $0.63, a hair below the $0.64 forecast.

Shares of United Parcel Service Inc (NYSE:UPS) fell 3.6% on Tuesday after the delivery giant posted mixed first-quarter results, with revenue and adjusted earnings topping estimates but continued weakness in its US package business weighing on sentiment.

UPS reported first-quarter 2026 consolidated revenue of $21.2 billion, compared with estimates of $20.99 billion. Adjusted diluted earnings per share came in at $1.07, above expectations of $1.03.

Spotify Technology SA (NYSE:SPOT) shares fell nearly 11% on Tuesday after the streaming company posted quarterly results that beat expectations on revenue, profit and user growth but delivered mixed second-quarter guidance, particularly on profitability and subscriber additions.

The US-listed stock decline came despite stronger-than-expected first-quarter 2026 performance, including revenue of €4.53 billion versus estimates of €4.52 billion, and earnings per share of €3.45 compared with forecasts of €2.95.

General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) shares fell about 4% on Tuesday morning even after the automaker posted stronger-than-expected first-quarter earnings and raised its full-year profit outlook, helped in part by a favorable US Supreme Court ruling on tariffs.

The Detroit-based automaker reported first-quarter revenue of $43.6 billion, slightly ahead of analysts’ estimates of $43.38 billion, while adjusted earnings per share came in at $3.70, well above expectations of $2.61.

The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE:KO) shares gained on Tuesday morning after the beverage giant beat first-quarter earnings estimates and raised its full-year profit outlook, helped by stronger sales growth across regions and resilient demand for its core soft drink brands.

The company reported first-quarter adjusted earnings per share of $0.86, ahead of analysts’ estimates of $0.81, while revenue rose 12% year-over-year to $12.5 billion, topping expectations of $12.14 billion.
