Stocks ended Tuesday on a mixed note, with major indexes slipping as investors remained cautious despite a brief improvement in sentiment tied to geopolitical developments.

The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite led declines, sliding 0.8% or 185 points to 21,762. The Dow Jones fell 0.2%, or 84 points, to close at 46,124, while the S&P 500 dropped 0.4% to 6,556. In contrast, the Russell 2000 outperformed, rising 0.5% to 2,505, signaling some rotation into smaller-cap names.

Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSE:ANF) could unlock significant earnings potential by reshaping its Asia-Pacific operations, analysts at Jefferies said, pointing to the region’s growth paired with persistent unprofitability.

Fox Tungsten Ltd (TSX-V:FOXT, OTC:HPYCF, FRA:1HC) announced it has entered into an agreement with Stifel Nicolaus Canada, acting as co-lead underwriter alongside PowerOne Capital Markets Limited and as sole bookrunner, in connection with a bought deal private placement expected to raise approximately C$11.1 million in gross proceeds.

Fox Tungsten said it intends to use the net proceeds from the hard dollar units to advance exploration at its Fox Tungsten Project, in British Columbia, Canada, as well as for other exploration initiatives, working capital, and general corporate purposes.

Zephyr Energy PLC (AIM:ZPHR, OTCQB:ZPHRF, FRA:VD5N) told investors that its non-operated production jumped in the fourth quarter of 2025, as the benefits of last year’s US$7.3 million acquisition fed through, while fresh non-core asset sales added cash for its flagship Paradox project in Utah.

Net non-operated production rose to 983 barrels of oil equivalent per day in the quarter, up from 632 boepd in the second quarter and 925 boepd in the third. The company noted that the increase was primarily due to August's acquisition of working interests in mature producing assets, which lifted its portfolio to interests in more than 600 gross wells.
