Rosslyn Data reports progress with AI strategy, but pipeline delays hit shares

Rosslyn Data Technologies PLC (AIM:RDT) shares fell 13% to 3.04p after the company warned that some of the sales pipeline that was now anticipated in the next financial year.

Revenue of £1.5 million was reported for the six months to 31 October 2025 and an adjusted EBITDA loss of £1.0 million, versus a loss of £1.14 million a year earlier.

The company said it made further progress with its major customer signed last year, including the commencement of trials of its AI data classification tool, AICE. The platform has now been adopted commercially by several customers, with trials underway at six additional organisations.

CEO Paul Watts said these trials included "one of the largest companies in the world".

He said the first half had "validated" the strategy "to unlock the value of procurement data through providing AI-led actionable insight", with AICE showing "excellent momentum".

However, he said "some of the pipeline that we had expected to convert, and commence generating revenue, in H2 2026 is now anticipated for the first half of the next financial year".

Nevertheless, the board continues to expect an increase in revenue for the current year and to become cash generative in the 2027 financial year.
