Market movers: Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citigroup...

Citigroup Inc (NYSE:C) shares fell more than 3% on Tuesday after the bank reported fourth quarter 2025 revenue that fell short of expectations, weighed down by lower non-interest income and a $1.2 billion pre-tax loss from its planned exit from Russia.

The bank posted net income of $2.5 billion, or $1.19 per diluted share, on revenue of $19.9 billion, missing analysts’ revenue estimate of $20.5 billion.

Wells Fargo & Co (NYSE:WFC, XETRA:NWT) shares fell 4.5% in early trade after the bank reported mixed fourth quarter 2025 results that disappointed investors on several key metrics.

The bank posted total revenue of $21.29 billion, up 4% from a year earlier but below Wall Street’s forecast of $21.65 billion.

Bank of America Corp (NYSE:BAC) shares fell 4.5% as disappointing guidance overshadowed better-than-expected fourth quarter financial results.

The bank reported Q4 net income of $7.6 billion, up from $6.8 billion a year earlier. Diluted earnings per share rose 18% year-over-year to $0.98, beating analyst expectations of $0.96.

Mirriad Advertising PLC (AIM:MIRI, OTCQX:MMDDF) shares fell on Wednesday after what was described as a disappointing period.

The small-cap firm, in a full-year trading update, said revenue for the twelve months to the end of December is expected to total just over £400,000, compared with £1 million in the prior year
