Canopy Growth Corporation (TSX:WEED, NYSE:CGC) announced that it has agreed to acquire MTL Cannabis (CSE:MTLC) in a transaction valued at approximately C$125 million on a fully diluted equity basis and about C$179 million on an enterprise value basis.

Under the terms of a definitive arrangement agreement, Canopy Growth will acquire all issued and outstanding shares of MTL Cannabis and settle the target’s outstanding debt and debt-like instruments.

Circle Internet Group (NYSE:CRCL) shares jumped 8.4% following Visa Inc (NYSE:V, XETRA:3V64)’s announcement that US banks can now settle transactions using the stablecoin USDC, a signal of broader institutional adoption of blockchain-based payment solutions.

Visa’s expansion brings stablecoin settlement to the US for the first time, initially allowing banking partners Cross River Bank and Lead Bank to settle using USDC on the Solana blockchain. The payments giant plans a wider rollout throughout 2026.

Pfizer Inc (NYSE:PFE, XETRA:PFE) said on Tuesday that its 2026 revenue and profit are expected to come in slightly below Wall Street estimates, as sales of COVID-19 products fall and generic competition rises.

The company forecast revenue between $59.5 billion and $62.5 billion for 2026, with adjusted earnings per share of $2.80 to $3.

Reconnaissance Energy Africa Ltd (TSX-V:RECO, OTCQX:RECAF) has shared a year-end operational update, outlining progress across its exploration portfolio in Namibia, Angola and Gabon, with several technical and operational milestones expected in 2026.

The company said that 2025 was marked by portfolio expansion and continued exploration activity, including drilling success in Namibia’s Damara Fold Belt, entry into onshore Angola and the addition of an offshore position in Gabon.

Charbone Hydrogen Corporation (TSX-V:CH, OTCQB:CHHYF) announced that it has officially commenced commercial production of clean ultra high purity (UHP) hydrogen at its modular facility in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec, following the completion and successful testing of Phase 1A operations.

The company said the Sorel-Tracy project entered commercial production after the full installation of Phase 1A equipment and successful testing conducted during the final weekend of November.
