SkinBioTherapeutics eyes another year of growth as new products reach High Street shelves

SkinBioTherapeutics PLC (AIM:SBTX) said it has made a strong start to the new financial year and expects to report 2026 results in line with market forecasts, pointing to revenue of £6.2 million and adjusted EBITDA of £0.7 million.

The board said the outlook reflects early momentum from recent launches and the growing contribution of acquisitions completed over the past two years.

The company, which focuses on skin health through cosmetic ingredients, supplements and topical formulations, said the progress made in 2025 has laid the groundwork for further expansion.

Management expects increased High Street exposure for its AxisBiotix products through Superdrug and the first wave of cosmetic formulations containing Zenakine, the Croda-branded version of its SkinBiotix technology, to support growth through the year.

Results for the 12 months to June show revenue rising 284% to £4.6 million, driven by direct sales of AxisBiotix, early royalty income from Zenakine, a full year of Dermatonics trading and nine months of revenue from Bio-Tech Solutions, acquired in late 2024.

The adjusted EBITDA loss narrowed to £0.4 million, while the operating loss improved 61% to £1.1 million. Cash at year-end increased to £4.8 million, supported by inflows from acquired businesses and fundraisings totalling £5.8 million across August 2024 and June 2025.

Operationally, the year saw SkinBiotix commercialised through Croda, with Zenakine launched globally in April.

AxisBiotix continued to grow direct sales and secured a two-year exclusive agreement with Superdrug, with both product lines now on shelves in more than 180 stores.

Dermatonics delivered revenue of £2.2 million and EBITDA of £0.5 million, while Bio-Tech Solutions contributed £1.4 million of revenue. Post year-end, the group began integrating manufacturing and packaging capabilities to support wider product development.

Chief executive Stuart Ashman said the group is beginning to see the cumulative benefits of its partnerships and acquisitions flow through. “We have seen a great start to FY26 and anticipate another year of growth from direct and indirect sales,” he said.
