Apollo Minerals Ltd (ASX:AON, OTC:APOMF) earlier this week disclosed the presence of high-grade gallium mineralisation at its Kroussou zinc and lead project in Gabon.

The company said gallium has been identified as a cap over much of the lead-zinc mineralisation. It noted that this finding was based on recent fieldwork and a reassessment of its existing drill data. The company told investors that the discovery expands the broader exploration potential across the 900.00 square kilometre licence area.

Askari Metals Ltd (ASX:AS2) earlier this week provided an update on its copper and gold exploration activities at the Nejo project in Ethiopia.

The company said the campaign is its first reconnaissance-style program at Nejo. It will focus on validating historical RC drill collars and targeting high-priority prospects in the south, including Guji 1 and Komto 2.

Krakatoa Resources Ltd (ASX:KTA) earlier this week reported that 12 of 15 drill holes completed at its Zopkhito project in Georgia have intersected visible antimony mineralisation.

The company said the remaining three holes were not completed due to drilling difficulties. It also reported that underground sampling has shown similar results, with seven out of nine completed edits containing visible mineralisation. A photo released from one of the core samples was estimated to be 40% mineralised.

Control Bionics Ltd (ASX:CBL) earlier this week discussed its integration of Apple’s Brain-Computer Interface Human Interface Device (BCI HID) protocol into its assistive technology products.

The company told Proactive that it has been using surface electromyography (EMG) technology for two decades. This system detects electrical signals generated by muscle movement and allows individuals to interact with digital environments through those signals.

Novo Resources Corp earlier this week released assay results from surface rock-chip sampling at its Tibooburra gold project in New South Wales, including a standout result of 39.9 grams per tonne (g/t) gold. The company said the results were from the Pioneer area, part of a broader gold system extending over 20 kilometres.

Novo Resources Corp (TSX:NVO, OTCQX:NSRPF, ASX:NVO)’s executive co-chair and acting CEO Mike Spreadborough told investors the company had now completed surface mapping and sampling at Pioneer North and South. Seven of more than 20 rock chips collected returned values over 4 g/t gold, with the best sample grading 39.9 g/t.

Lightning Minerals Ltd (ASX:L1M) earlier this week announced the second set of assays from its inaugural drill campaign at the Mt Turner Gold Project in Queensland.

The company told Proactive the new results confirm shallow epithermal gold mineralisation at Pit 5 (Drummer Girl), while also identifying high-grade zinc, silver, and lead at the Cobar prospect. Managing Director Alex Biggs told investors the latest assays strengthen the company’s understanding of the broader mineral system at Mt Turner.

Far East Gold Ltd (ASX:FEG) earlier this week reported coarse visible gold and bonanza-grade intercepts from its first drill hole at the Sua prospect, part of the Idenburg Gold Project in Papua Province, Indonesia.

The company told Proactive that hole KSD023 intersected multiple high-grade zones, including 82 grams per tonne of gold over 8.4 metres. The average across the intercept was nearly 10 metres at 14 grams per tonne, located just 18 metres from surface.

Gold is humanity’s oldest investment safe-haven, a point that was made abundantly clear when queues snaked out the door and around the block at Sydney’s ABC Bullion last month as Australians raced to snap up gold at record highs.

Between September and late October, the metal climbed from around US$3,500 an ounce to nearly US$4,380. While it has come off a little over the past couple of weeks, it is still nudging over $4000 and analysts believe this breather is just part of a healthy near-term correction.

Cyprium Metals Ltd (ASX:CYM, OTC:CYPMF), a copper developer progressing the phased restart of the Nifty Copper Complex in the Paterson region of Western Australia (Nifty), has executed a binding term sheet with Nebari to refinance its existing US$27.3 million senior secured loan facility. Under the arrangements, Cyprium will repay its current senior secured loan with Glencore Australia Holdings Pty Limited and establish a new senior secured loan facility with Nebari (Nebari Facility).
