GlobalFoundries Inc (NASDAQ:GFS) is entering a period of accelerating momentum as it benefits from a cyclical recovery, US manufacturing onshoring, and growing demand for differentiated semiconductor technologies, according to Baird analysts.
Following the company’s Q3 earnings, the analysts maintained their ‘Outperform’ rating on GlobalFoundries with a $40 price target, citing the company’s strong positioning at the intersection of several key secular trends, “notably US onshoring and the rebuild of US-based semiconductor manufacturing capacity, along with the ramp of differentiated technologies serving higher-margin platforms including AI-driven optical networking.”
Beyond Meat Inc (NASDAQ:BYND) shares fell another 9% on Thursday to trade at about $1 after the plant-based food company and meme stock reported a third quarter earnings miss and issued weak sales guidance.
The company posted net revenues of $70.2 million for the third quarter of 2025, down 13.3% from the same period last year but ahead of estimates of $69 million.
Brookfield Asset Management (TSX:BAM, NYSE:BAM) shares fell almost 7% after the investment firm posted mixed third quarter earnings.
The company reported that distributable earnings per share came in at $0.63, slightly below the consensus forecast of $0.66.
Bitfarms (TSX-V:BITF) on Thursday reported a third quarter 2025 GAAP loss of $0.08 per share, compared with a deficit of $0.05 per share a year earlier, as the company plans to transition from Bitcoin mining to becoming a North American energy and digital infrastructure company.
Analysts, on average, were expecting a loss of $0.02 per share.
Walt Disney Co (NYSE:DIS, ETR:WDP) shares fell almost 9% after the entertainment giant posted mixed financial results for the fiscal fourth quarter.
Disney reported revenue of approximately $22.46 billion, below analyst expectations of $22.75 billion.
Cisco Systems Inc (NASDAQ:CSCO, ETR:CIS) after Wednesday’s close reported better than expected earnings and revenue for its fiscal first quarter 2026 and lifted its guidance on strong AI cloud demand.
The networking equipment maker posted earnings per share for the quarter of $1, edging past the $0.98 Wall Street forecast.
Imaging Biometrics Ltd (LSE:IBAI, OTCQB:IQAIF) shares rose 13% to 1.02p on Thursday after the company announced that its fractional tumour burden (FTB) mapping technology is being used in a glioblastoma (GBM) phase 2 feasibility study led by Dr Danielle Bazer at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper University.
The trial is assessing whether giving temozolomide before radiotherapy can provide an early, reliable measure of drug activity in newly diagnosed high-grade glioma.
Endeavour Mining PLC (LSE:EDV, TSX:EDV, OTCQX:EDVMF) shares climbed 10% to 3,536p on Thursday after the company posted another strong quarter, powered by high gold prices, firm output and sharply improved cash generation.
For the nine months to September, the group produced 911,000 ounces of gold, up 23% on the same period last year and on track for the top half of its annual target of 1.11–1.26 million ounces.
