Fineqia International Inc (CSE:FNQ) chairman Martin Graham talked with Proactive about the company's recently launched Bitcoin Yield ETP (YBTC) and how it sets itself apart in a crowded crypto product market.
Graham explained that unlike passive Bitcoin exchange-traded products, Fineqia’s YBTC delivers “superior yield” by allocating a portion of the investment into DeFi protocols, with returns taken in Bitcoin. “Not only does the investor get the benefit of having an exchange traded product with all the liquidity and safety… they also get exposure to the underlying asset and enhanced yield,” Graham said.
He also discussed the company’s Cardano Enhanced Yield ETN (YADA), which offers diversification within digital assets by providing exposure to the Cardano protocol — known for its security and speed.
When asked why Europe was chosen as the launch market, Graham said the region has “the most mature digital asset regulatory regime,” enabling easier listing and broader investor access through exchanges like Euronext and Vienna. These listings support Fineqia’s growth strategy by expanding investor reach, boosting the company profile, and opening up new capital opportunities.
Graham highlighted the company's partnership with Psalion Operations, noting that their expertise in DeFi architecture and yield generation has helped deliver returns of “5%–6% plus across Bitcoin products” over the past three years.
