Aurum Resources Ltd (ASX:AUE) has delivered another run of high-grade results from its large infill and extensional drilling push at the 2.41-million-ounce Boundiali Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire, returning hits including 5 metres at 11.07 g/t gold from 200 metres at the BDT2 deposit.
The latest assays come from six new diamond holes (1,487 metres) as part of Aurum’s 100,000-metre infill program at Boundiali — one of two key gold assets in the company’s expanding West African portfolio. The campaign is designed to grow the BDT2 mineral resource and lift overall confidence in the geological model ahead of a major resource update in early Q1 2026.

Key intercepts from BDT2 include:
- 18 metres at 3.93 g/t gold from 198 metres, including 5 metres at 11.07 g/t (DSDD0267)
- 28 metres at 1.54 g/t from 82 metres, including 4 metres at 7.51 g/t (DSDD0265)
- 17 metres at 0.99 g/t from 55 metres, including 1 metre at 9.16 g/t (DSDD0265)
- 9 metres at 1.38 g/t from 78 metres, including 3 metres at 3.23 g/t (DSDD0267)
These latest results sit outside the current mineral resource and continue to demonstrate continuity of mineralisation, which remains open along strike and at depth.

Scope for resource growth
Managing director Dr Caigen Wang said the company’s aggressive program is designed to accelerate resource growth across multiple prospects.
“These new hits, including 5m @ 11.07 g/t Au from 200m in DSDD0267, are very encouraging and sit outside of the current Mineral Resource for BDT2. We are increasing the tempo of drilling at Boundiali ahead of our next major resource update expected early in Q1 CY2026,” Wang said.
“With a strong cash balance of more than $45 million at the end of September, a clear development pathway with the Boundiali PFS under way, and major resource updates at both gold projects pending, we are in an excellent position to deliver substantial shareholder value through 2025 and into 2026.”
The company now has 12 company-owned diamond rigs operating across Boundiali, giving it full control over drill scheduling and costs. Aurum says the fleet will expand drilling capacity to more than 130,000 metres across Boundiali and Napié during calendar year 2025.

The high-grade hit follows a string of standout results from Boundiali over recent months, including bonanza-grade hits, which helped drive a 53% jump in resources reported in the September quarter.

Pathway to development
Alongside aggressive drilling, Aurum is progressing the Boundiali Pre-Feasibility Study, with results due in Q1 2026. Two updated mineral resource estimates — one for Boundiali and one for the 0.87-million-ounce Napié Gold Project — are also scheduled for early Q1 2026.
Next steps include:
- 100,000 metres of drilling at Boundiali in CY2025
- Resource expansion drilling across BD, BM and BST deposits
- Continued drilling at Napié (30,000 metres in CY2025)
- Boundiali open-pit PFS completion in Q1 2026

With $45 million in cash (including Montage shares, unaudited), Aurum says it is fully funded through its current drilling and study programs.
Aurum continues to position Boundiali as one of the fastest-advancing gold projects in West Africa, supported by strong grades, scale and ongoing resource growth momentum.
