Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) has introduced cheaper versions of its two most popular electric vehicles, aiming to make electric cars more accessible following the expiration of the $7,500 US federal EV tax credit.

The new Model 3 Standard starts at $34,990, making it the most affordable Tesla currently available, while the Model Y Standard, a budget-friendly version of the Model Y SUV, begins at $39,990.

International Business Machines Corp (NYSE:IBM) shares rose nearly 3% in late-morning trading on Tuesday after the company announced a strategic partnership with Anthropic to use its artificial-intelligence (AI) models in IBM software.

Under the terms of the agreement, IBM will integrate Anthropic’s Claude, a family of large language models, into select IBM software products, starting with IBM's new AI-first integrated development environment (IDE), designed with advanced task generation capabilities for enterprise software development lifecycles (SDLC).

Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) shares fell more than 7% following a report by The Wall Street Journal about a fire at Novelis' aluminum plant in Oswego, New York.

The September 16 fire damaged the plant's hot mill, taking much of the facility offline until early next year, per the report.

Dell Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:DELL) shares gained more than 3% in early trading on Tuesday after the computer maker lifted its long-term revenue and profit growth forecasts during its Securities Analyst Meeting.

Dell said it now expects annual revenue to grow between 7% and 9%, up from its previous forecast of 3% to 4%, driven by robust demand for artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure.

Trilogy Metals (NYSEAMERICAN:TMQ) stock surged more than 220% after it announced that the US government is acquiring a 10% equity stake in the Canadian-based mineral exploration company with mining interests in Alaska.

The US Department of War (DOW) is investing approximately $35.6 million to support exploration and development of critical mineral resources in Alaska’s Ambler Mining District, specifically the Upper Kobuk Mineral Projects (UKMP), held by Ambler Metals LLC, a 50/50 joint venture between Trilogy Metals and South32 Limited.

AppLovin Corp (NASDAQ:APP) shares fell 14% then bounced back to trade 4% higher pre-market on Tuesday following reports that the firm’s data collection practices are being probed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Per the reports, the investigation originates from a whistleblower complaint and short-seller reports alleging that AppLovin mishandled user data on platforms including Meta, Snap, and TikTok, using techniques such as “fingerprinting” to track users.

Shares in Greatland Resources Ltd (AIM:GGP, OTC:GRLGF, ASX:GGP) climbed 6% after the miner reported robust production figures and a stronger cash position for the September quarter, while keeping its full-year guidance unchanged.

The company produced 80,890 ounces of gold and 3,366 tonnes of copper in the three months to September, with sales slightly higher at 82,199 ounces of gold and 3,277 tonnes of copper.
