Race Oncology Ltd (ASX:RAC, OTC:RAONF) invites shareholders and potential investors to attend an online webinar on October 8 where management will discuss the company’s recent discovery of the primary anticancer mechanism of (E,E)-bisantrene (RCDS1).
During the webinar, executive hair Dr Pete Smith and managing director & CEO Dr Daniel Tillett will present supporting data on the mechanism, explain its significance for Race’s clinical and commercial plans, and address investor questions. The mechanism — in which the molecule binds to G4-DNA and RNA and modulates MYC activity — provides a biological rationale distinct from conventional anthracyclines.

About Race Oncology
Race is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company targeting cancer therapeutics. Its lead program, RCDS1 (E,E-bisantrene), is a small molecule agent that functions via G4-DNA and RNA binding with potent inhibition of the oncogene MYC.
The company is developing a proprietary formulation, RC220, for combination therapy in solid tumours (aiming to pair with doxorubicin for cardioprotection plus enhanced efficacy) and exploring its use in lower-intensity settings such as acute myeloid leukaemia.
Race collaborates with institutions including Astex, MD Anderson, Sheba, UNC, UOW and the University of Newcastle, and is evaluating partnership or licensing opportunities to accelerate global access to RC220.
