Defence Holdings PLC (LSE:ALRT) has signed a letter of intent with Whitespace, a UK-based technology company specialising in AI infrastructure for defence, national security, and public sector operations.
The agreement outlines plans for a long-term partnership to accelerate the delivery of software-led capabilities in UK and allied defence settings.
“This strategic partnership marks a pivotal moment for Defence Holdings,” said chair James Norwood.
“Together with Whitespace, we are integrating operationally proven AI infrastructure into our platform, creating the foundation to deliver sovereign software capabilities at real speed and scale.”
Whitespace’s technology is already operational in classified environments, including deployment on a UK naval platform, and integrated into government networks.
The partnership will enable Defence Holdings to embed Whitespace’s Collective OS into its product development, targeting applications such as autonomous decision-making, secure intelligence analysis, and multi-domain situational awareness.
