SkinBioTherapeutics PLC's (AIM:SBTX)AxisBiotix-Ps and AxisBiotix-Ac products will go on sale in Superdrug’s UK stores, thanks to a new exclusive commercial agreement.
Under the agreement, announced today, the rollout of the AxisBiotix products (food supplements to alleviate symptoms of inflammatory skin conditions) into Superdrug stores will begin in September, with a phased expansion planned for Spring 2026.
SkinBioTherapeutics has at the same time launched a £4.7 million equity raise to support delivery of the deal.
Through a placing and share subscription, it is raising £4.1 million, with new shares priced at 17p per share (sold with minimal discount). A separate retail offer aims to raise a further £615,000.
Chief executive Stuart Ashman described the signing of the firm’s first deal with a national high street retailer as “a major milestone”.
“We have been in discussions for a considerable period to determine the right way to promote, package and roll out both of the AxisBiotix products,” Ashman said in a statement.
“Importantly, we retain the worldwide rights to sell the products ourselves directly online and via Amazon, and remain in control over how our products are promoted.”
In London, SkinBioTherapeutics shares were trading at 17.28p on Monday.
