Shares of C3 Metals Inc (TSX-V:CCCM, OTC:CARCF) surged another 32% today, following the announcement of an earn-in agreement with Freeport-McMoRan Inc (NYSE:FCX, ETR:FPMB), the world-renowned copper giant.
The investor excitement began earlier this week when the news initially broke, with C3 Metals’ stock jumping nearly 45% on Tuesday.
Kraft Heinz Co (NASDAQ:KHC, ETR:KHNZ) shares slipped after the packaged foods company posted a revenue miss for the fourth quarter, as higher prices saw cost-conscious shoppers turn to other brands.
The company, whose brands include Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, Heinz Tomato Ketchup, Philadelphia Cream Cheese and Jell-O, said revenue was down 4.1% year-over-year at $6.58 billion, below Street estimates of $6.66 billion.

Barrick Gold Corp. (TSX:ABX, NYSE:GOLD) surged 6.3% on Wednesday after reporting better-than-expected fourth-quarter earnings, bolstered by expanding margins and stronger free cash flow.
The company’s adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.46 exceeded analyst estimates of $0.42, while adjusted EBITDA of $2.25 billion came in slightly ahead of the consensus forecast.
Power Nickel Inc (TSX-V:PNPN, OTCQB:PNPNF) said it is planning to raise up to C$45 million to advance work on its Canadian exploration portfolio.
