IXICO up 33% after £5.8m order boost

IXICO PLC (AIM:IXI, OTC:PHYOF) shares surged 33% following a positive trading update in which it said it had landed new contract wins worth £5.8 million since March.

The medical imaging specialist now anticipates full-year revenue to be between £5.5 million and £5.9 million, showing significant growth in the second half of the year compared to the first half.

Its order book is also expected to return to prior levels, reaching around £14.8 million by year-end.

These developments are set to improve IXICO’s cash position and reduce its anticipated EBITDA loss, outperforming previous market expectations of £1.4 million in cash and a £2.1 million EBITDA loss.

In morning trading the shares were up 2.38p at 9.5p.
