88 Energy Ltd (AIM:88E, ASX:88E, OTC:EEENF) said it is set to commence the flow test and stimulation of the Hickory-1 discovery in mid-February.
The $11 million programme, part of 88's Project Phoenix, is located in Alaska, so the operation will require an ice road.
Chariot Ltd (AIM:CHAR, OTC:OIGLF) notified the stock exchange that its chief executive Adonis Pouroulis has bought shares in the company, picking up in the market 376,390 shares priced at 9.22p each.
The transaction took place on Wednesday 10 January and it was Pouroulis’ first such notification.
Diversified Energy Company PLC (LSE:DEC, NYSE:DEC) has issued a response to a letter from the US House of Representatives committee on energy and commerce, which wrote to the company in December.
The committee's letter, dated 18 December, was from four members requesting information regarding the company's well retirement and emissions information.
Africa Oil Corp (TSX:AOI)'s Namibia interests have received a major boost as Impact Oil and Gas, a company part-owned by AOC, agreed to sell a stake in the Venus discovery to its partner TotalEnergies.
Total is taking an additional 9.5% of offshore Blocks 2912 and 2913B, which host the Venus discovery, by committing to cover Impact’s share of the project costs through to first commercial production. The French oil major is also paying Impact some US$99 million of cash for its past costs.
Helium One Global Ltd (AIM:HE1, OTCQB:HLOGF) has commenced drilling at the Itumbula West-1 well in Tanzania targeting two major fault zones and the Karoo play.
The drilling process will also involve mudlogging by Geolog to monitor helium gas shows and a portable mass spectrometer for measuring and validating these shows.
