Central banks and some giant companies' results jostle for investor attention in the coming week, not to mention geopolitics, economic news and commodity price swings.
In London, four of the FTSE 100's top 10 are reporting, Shell, BP, HSBC and GSK, as well as other blue chips include BT, Next and Haleon.
Apple and Novo Nordisk (NYSE:NVO), the largest companies on either side of the Atlantic are also due to deliver earnings, along with Pfizer, Moderna, PayPal, Coinbase, Starbucks and many more.
