Aterian PLC (LSE:ATN), the Morocco-focused minerals explorer, jumped 5% on some encouraging samples from its Tata project.
Shares in the group have been bucking the recent weak market for pure explorers, with the shares up by two-thirds since February and they rose again today on the Tata results.
Best of the samples was over 7% copper which chairman Charles Bray said highlighted the sedimentary-hosted copper potential at the prospect.
Visible metal signs extend over an 18km strike, according to the company’s statement, with a further 26km remaining untested.
Tata, 100% owned by Aterian, is one of 17 projects the standard listed company has in Morocco.
Shares rose 0.05p to 1p.
