Altona Rare Earths has confirmed its move to the standard section of the main market from Aquis following the completion of a £2mln fundraise.

Funds came in the form of £1.72mln placing at 5p per share and a subscription for £279,000 worth of shares at the same price.

Power Metal Resources PLC (AIM:POW) has announced that founder and chief executive Paul Johnson is stepping down with immediate effect with a management reshuffle to follow his departure.

In a statement, Power Metal said Johnson is leaving to focus on critical family health matters but will continue to work for the company in the background as it pursues its spin-off and disposal strategy.

Piedmont Lithium Inc (ASX:PLL, NASDAQ:PLL, XETRA:) and project partner Sayona Mining Ltd (ASX:SYA) have produced the first batch of spodumene concentrate (SC6) from the North American Lithium Project in Quebec, ahead of fully restarting the operation.

The project produced about 70 tonnes of SC6 as part of commissioning, with the first shipment of saleable product targeted for the third quarter this year.

Eclipse Metals Ltd (ASX:EPM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Minerals, Materials and Society Program at the University of Delaware, USA as it looks to ensure regional sustainable development and diversification of the economy around its Ivigtût Project in Southwest Greenland.

The partnership will work collaboratively to research potential avenues for regional economic development of the Ivigtût project areas, which will be supported by funding from the US government’s National Science Foundation.

Atlantic Lithium Limited (AIM:ALL, OTCQX:ALLIF, ASX:A11) saw its shares jump 26% higher as trading in the stock resumed on Thursday after it issued a response to a "false and misleading report" regarding its partner Piedmont Lithium Inc released by Blue Orca Capital on March 8.

The AIM-listed exploration and development company, which is targeting to deliver Ghana's first lithium mine, said it holds valid prospecting licences with operating permits for all of its current activities, in accordance with the Ghanaian government and the Minerals Commission's requirements, and outrightly refutes the allegations of impropriety made by the Blue Orca report.

Oriole Resources PLC (AIM:ORR) has celebrated yet another year of exploration success in Cameroon as it announced its final results for the year ended 31 December 2022.

In the results statement, Tim Livesey, CEO of Oriole, commented: "The drilling programme at the Bakassi Zone 1 target on the Bibemi licence, led to the delivery of Oriole's maiden JORC compliant Resource in Cameroon. We were particularly pleased by the high level of conversion from the early JORC Exploration Target to JORC Inferred Resource, and also by the robust grade of the resource, giving a first pass estimate of 305,000 oz at 2.19 g/t Au (grams per ton gold)."

Anglo Asian Mining PLC (AIM:AAZ, OTC:AGXKF) said it has signed a seven-year revolving credit facility worth US$32.3mln with the International Bank of Azerbaijan.

Entered into by Anglo’s wholly-owned operating subsidiary, Azerbaijan International Mining Company, the revolving credit facility provides “additional finance and operational flexibility for the company’s expansion plans”, according to a statement.

Endeavour Mining PLC (LSE:EDV, TSX:EDV, OTCQX:EDVMF) upped its annual dividend payout by US$60mln to US$200mln after the FTSE 100-listed gold miner confirmed another solid year of production.

Output in 2002 was 1,400 ounces (oz) of gold with costs at US$928 per oz, marking a tenth consecutive year of beating production and cost guidance said the West Africa-focused miner.

Ora Banda Mining Ltd (ASX:OBM) is on track to achieve its production target of 100,000 ounces of gold per annum by FY25 following the doubling of underground gold resources at the Riverina Project along with an increase in mining and processing performance.

The 100,000 ounces production target is underpinned by the recently upgraded maiden ore reserve of 73,000 ounces averaging 4.3 g/t at Riverina Underground in Western Australia's Goldfields.

Castillo Copper Ltd (ASX:CCZ, LSE:CCZ) is moving to optimise the Cangai Copper Mine in northern New South Wales and plans to upgrade confidence in the mineral resource estimate (MRE) and model by leveraging extensive drilling work completed since the original estimate in 2017.

The company will use results from 34 reverse circulation and two diamond-cored drill holes for a total of 5,222 metres to form the new resource model.

Greatland Gold PLC (AIM:GGP, OTC:GRLGF) managing director Shaun Day has told investors that the company's recent exploration campaign at its Scallywag project has delivered "the most encouraging results to date".

The comment came as Greatland announced the results of its 2022 exploration programme at the 100%-owned Scallywag in the Paterson region of Western Australia, which is located adjacent to the company's flagship Havieron gold-copper project discovered in 2018.

South Harz Potash Ltd (ASX:SHP) has extracted a 5-tonne bulk sample from an area adjoining its Ohmgebirge potash development in Thuringia, Germany, that is expected to provide valuable data for process design test work and project de-risking.

The sample was taken from the historic Bernterode area that produced muriate of potash (MOP) from historical mining of the Hartsalz potash seam, which is contiguous with the Ohmgebirge deposit.

Shares in Ferrexpo PLC (LSE:FXPO) fell on reports that Ukraine has seized shares owned by the iron ore producer's major shareholder and former chief executive.

The Kyiv Economic Court confiscated stakes of 50.3% in the Poltava, Eristivskiy and Bilanivskiy mining plants in central Ukraine, which it said were indirectly owned by billionaire Kostyantin Zhevago through Ferrexpo, according to a statement.

GreenX Metals Ltd (LSE:GRX, ASX:GRX) shares were pulled around 14% lower on Tuesday, pricing in dilution and the discount from a £3.9mln share placing, as the explorer seeks to advance programmes in Greenland.

Proceeds from the placing will also support working capital as the firm awaits a decision in its international arbitration versus the Republic of Poland, it noted in a statement.

Ariana Resources PLC (AIM:AAU) said its stake in Venus Minerals Ltd looks set to increase to 58% following a capital restructuring and ahead of a proposed listing for Venus on the London Stock Exchange.

Ariana's shareholding in Venus will increase to 56% following the conversion of an existing loan of £500,000. An additional loan of a further £200,000 is expected to convert simultaneously, taking Ariana's holding to 58%.

Greatland Gold PLC (AIM:GGP, OTC:GRLGF) said it is in a “strong financial position as its moves towards production and cashflow” from the Havieron mine, with £59.8mln cash and £43.5mln of debt at its 31 December 2022 half-year point.

During the half-year, the company made progress on its feasibility study for the gold-copper deposit in the Paterson region of Western Australia, where an updated mineral resource calculated a total of 5.5 mln oz of gold and 222,000 tonnes of copper.

Landore Resources Ltd (AIM:LND, OTC:LNDLF) has entered into an option agreement with Green Technology Metals Limited (GT1) in regard to certain tenements which contain lithium prospects on the Junior Lake project in Canada.

Under the terms of the agreement, GT1 has the right to purchase an 80% interest in the tenements, which comprise 591 staked mineral claims for 10,856 hectares.
