Capita PLC (LSE:CPI) has sold off another business as it enters the sixth year of a disposal programme that has so far recouped £1.3bn for the outsourcing group.
The latest exit was from its human resourcing businesses, Capita Resourcing, HR Solutions and ThirtyThree, which have been bought by private equity firm Inspirit Capital for £21mln following a competitive sale process.
Capita expects to receive £17mln cash, of which £7mln is to be deferred until the end of November.
Last year, the group received gross proceeds of roughly £485mln from disposals.
Following the results last week, shares in the group jumped back above 39p for the first time since late 2021, where they are down three-quarters from pre-pandemic levels.
