Hikma Pharmaceuticals has appointed Rebecca Hall as its new chief financial officer, hiring from a specialist rival to fill one of its most senior roles.
Hall, who goes by Becky, will join the FTSE 100 drugmaker in the first quarter of 2027 and take a seat on the board as an executive director.
She arrives from ViiV Healthcare, the HIV specialist majority-owned by GSK, where she is senior vice-president and chief financial officer with responsibility for finance, supply chain and business development.
ViiV generated revenue of close to £8 billion in 2025, up 11%.
Hall spent the first 14 years of her career at GSK before moving to ViiV in 2018, and has worked in the UK, the United States and Singapore.
She succeeds Khalid Nabilsi, who steps down from the board on 31 December but stays on as deputy chief executive for North America and Europe.
Areb Kurdi has been acting chief financial officer and will continue until Hall arrives.
Chief executive Said Darwazah said she was an accomplished leader who would bring financial and operational discipline to the delivery of Hikma's plans.
Hikma makes branded and generic medicines and employs 9,500 people across North America, the Middle East, north Africa and Europe.
