Marketing software specialist smartFOCUS Group PLC (AIM: STF) said it signed a partnership agreement with Initiatives & Developments (Group ID), under which the French group will integrate, operate, and resell the full smartFOCUS Intelligent Marketing software suite as part of its loyalty management product to its European customers and prospects.
Group ID develops consumer loyalty management and customer relationship management (CRM) programmes, working for some of the leading companies across Europe, including Carte Bleue VISA, l'Oréal, Microsoft, British Telecom and Havas Voyages, it said in a statement.
Curt Bloom, president, smartFOCUS International, said: "The Group ID partnership significantly increases our footprint across Europe and we welcome Group ID to our growing community of international marketing services partners.”
The latest contract win adds to a string of other deals secured recently and comes a day after smartFOCUS flagged it was expecting its full year results to be ahead of market consensus.
In December alone, the company announced two significant contract wins, one with Bournemouth-based financial services group Liverpool Victoria (LV=) to streamline its entire marketing strategy, the other with Rank Group (LSE: RANK) to implement the digital marketing suite smartMARKETER.
Early November, the company’s existing client AAA, the US’ largest organization for motorists and leisure travellers, implemented its full suite of marketing software to increase cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across its more than 51 million members after the initial deployment of the group’s solutions yielded impressive results.
Apart from Rank Group, AAA and LV=, the company’s clients and partners include, ABN AMRO, ASOS, Centre Parcs, EasyJet, Epson Europe, Equifax, Eurocamp, Harrods, Hilton International, Landal Green Park, Manchester United FC, QVC, Rabobank, RCI-GVN, Société Générale and Sony Europe.
“It is pleasing to be able to announce another profits upgrade ahead of our forthcoming year end in this, the first full year of our transformed business model. We are going into 2010 with a higher level of recurring revenues and good prospects for ongoing growth,” chief executive of smartFOCUS, Chris Underhill, commented in yesterday’s trading statement.
