Biotechnology company Cellmid Limited (ASX: CDY) is preparing to divulge details of a capital raising.
Cellmid has been granted a trading halt by the ASX, with its shares placed in pre-open.
The company is developing innovative therapies and diagnostic tests for heart attack, inflammatory diseases and cancer.
Cellmid holds the largest and most comprehensive portfolio of intellectual property related to midkine, an extensively validated therapeutic and diagnostic target in inflammation, autoimmunity and cancer.
The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Wednesday 11th December 2013, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
