Norcon (LON:NCON) confirmed today that a contract signed recently in Indonesia was for Indosat, one of the largest cellular network operators in south east Asia.
The telecoms consultant and project manager flagged up the contract last week with its results, but did not name the customer.
Subsidiary Norconsult Telematics will advise Indosat on the multi-year modernisation project to enhance, expand and improve the quality of its cellular network.
Steve Preston, Norcon’s acting chief executive, said: "I am extremely pleased to be confirming the client for this important contract win today.
"Diversification of our revenue base into new geographies is the key strategic priority for Norcon and this deal with Indosat is evidence that we are making progress here."
