IGas Energy: New director Pinchbeck buys shares in firm

New director at IGas Energy (LON:IGAS) Robin Pinchbeck has bought shares worth nearly £37,000 in the firm.

Yesterday, he bought 52,000 IGas shares at 71 pence each for £36,920 in an on market transaction, the company said.

Pinchbeck now holds 141,000 shares in the firm, representing 0.09 per cent of the capital.

The company revealed yesterday that Pinchbeck, an experienced oil and gas man, was joining the company's board as a non-executive director.

He has previously held roles at Petrofac (LON:PFC), Enquest (LON:ENQ) and BP (LON:BP.).

IGas has a portfolio of UK based assets, with a mix of both conventional and unconventional projects. Shale gas and coal bed methane provides the excitement to the platform of conventional oil and gas production.
