With an 83% jump to $0.22 in intra-day trade yesterday, up from $0.12 on Tuesday 18 January, the ASX initiated a price and volume query to Shree Minerals (ASX: SHH).
Shree said it is not aware of any new information that had not been announced to the market.
However, Shree did state back to the ASX in its response:
'Please note, the company is aware that an independent research broker report has been issued by Proactive Investors today.
'In accordance with the continuous disclosure requirements, the company has made an announcement to this effect and made the report available on our company website.'
Shree shares closed the day at $0.19.
